So, say 15 year life. Spend and extra 6K in 15 yrs is $33/mo. Worth it?


Not knowing if the new car will be as dependable as the old one seems to be?

In 15 years the difference will be negligible, but you'll also have an "extra" 2 years of a dependable ride.
